Series tied 2-2
Carolina Hurricanes

Vegas Golden Knights

The Stanley Cup Final is down to a best-of-three. Carolina refused to let Vegas take a stranglehold on Tuesday night, surviving a massive Golden Knights push to claim a wild 5-3 victory in Game 4. The Hurricanes stormed out of the gate, building a 3-1 first-period lead on the back of early strikes from Logan Stankoven and Jackson Blake before Jordan Staal added a power-play marker. Vegas erased that deficit entirely in the middle frame. William Karlsson struck early in the second, and Brett Howden tied things up with under three minutes remaining in the period to send the home crowd into a frenzy. Needing a hero to avoid a disastrous series hole, Carolina turned to their captain. Just over six minutes into the third, Staal snapped home his second goal of the night to restore the lead for good. Nikolaj Ehlers, who racked up a three-point night, sealed the win with under a minute remaining. With the Series tied 2-2, the battle shifts back to Raleigh for a massive Game 5 where every shift could define a championship.
